LGBTQ Parents
Since its inception, the Center for Surrogacy & Egg Donation has been committed to assisting the LGBTQ community. We have helped hundreds of gay male and lesbian couples and individuals become parents through surrogacy and/or egg donation. We have also assisted members of the transgender community with their journey to parenthood.
With the landmark decision in Obergefell v. Hodges legalizing gay marriage in 2015, the number of same-sex couples and gay individuals wanting to become parents has increased significantly. We are here to help you find your perfect egg donor and to match you with a surrogate with whom you will have an amazing journey to parenthood. We understand the needs and desires of the LGBTQ community in becoming parents and will share our expertise with you to ensure you have a truly life-changing experience.
By partnering with the law firm of Nichols, DeLisle & Lightholder, P.C., we can be sure that the wide variety of legal issues that affect the LGBTQ community will be addressed as part of the matching process with your egg donor and/or surrogate. Despite the recent advances in the law, LGBTQ parents are not treated equally in all states. Accordingly, it is very important that your legal interests are thoroughly examined prior to selecting an egg donor and/or surrogate.
Nichols, DeLisle & Lightholder, P.C. is a leader in the area of reproductive law. The firm obtained the first pre-birth order in Massachusetts for a same-sex male couple resulting in the first child born in Massachusetts with two fathers on his original birth certificate. Nichols, DeLisle & Lightholder is also a leading advocate in changing laws that affect the parental rights of same-sex couples in Massachusetts and throughout the U.S.
The Center for Surrogacy & Egg Donation and Nichols, DeLisle & Lightholder, P.C. will be your partners throughout the egg donation and surrogacy process. We will help guide you and counsel you on your journey to becoming part of the burgeoning community of LGBTQ parents.
